Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, living quarters for workers (man-camp), assemble earthmoving machines, and drill the well itself, especially in remote locations. They are also part fixers, problem solvers and facilitators. episode (2022). This formula is TV, but by a writer who will be remembered in a few decades as Norman Lear is now.
Inadequacy with the mother-daughter-father-family dynamic?
The difference here lies in the geography. This is another western niche show and its brilliant marketing is combined with great performances from top quality actors. Accuracy issues with the oil industry? Apparently.
The Larter is top performing and looks phenomenal
Yes. Does this mean that none of them work the same way in real life? No matter, it’s a dynamic production and fun to watch. Thornton is slated for the role, though I’ve read that it was only initially written for him.
If not, I’ll be wondering what the deal is
Lots of interesting stuff, except the one oddity is that Demi Moore is in all 10 episodes. I’ve seen all 5 that have aired so far, and unless it’s just me, I only remember seeing and hearing him in his pool once, for a brief moment. Hamm’s character isn’t seen that much either, but he played well and he figures out his character, but Moore hasn’t been able to add anything yet. Maybe it’s written that way and will play a role in later episodes.
