In Javanese culture, Sengkolo is a negative entity that often haunts humans, brings bad luck, and brings disaster. On the first night of Suro, Sengkolo moved to target several weton that were its prey. The original title was called “Sengkolo: Pemandi Mayat”. I just finished watching the movie in Malaysian cinema, I’m quite shocked to see no reviews for this movie. I’m a horror movie enthusiast. For me: The acting is perfect. I can feel the family bond between them. Some supporting actors may need a little polishing, but overall it’s pretty good. Ghost is really scary and realistic. Although there are a lot of jump scenes, it completes the movie. Yes2. A delightful horror movie. + a supporting actor in the cinema where everyone screams when certain scenes happen. If Indonesian horror movies keep getting better, I’m sure they can go around the world. Best wishes from Malaysia.
